The Asia Society is one of my favourite places in Hong Kong and I've been guiding yoga, yoga nidra and sound healing sessions there for over 5 years. It’s a joy to share these practices in such a beautiful space. The energy there is so incrrdibly peaceful and serene - despite being in the heart of busy Hong Kong! During the interview, I was asked to share a few simple tips for maintaining a healthy and balanced life. That didn't make it into the article so I'll share it with you now...

I really believe that t’s not what you do once in a while, it’s what you do daily that makes all the difference. It’s about building micro-routines and habits. Three habits that I think are important to cultivate include:

  1. Writing down your dreams first thing in the morning – they often carry valuable insights and guidance.

  2. Practicing gratitude every day - I write a list of the top 5 things I’m grateful for every night in a dedicated gratitude journal. This trains your mind to look for the positive and can be a real game changer.

  3. And finally be kind to yourself. Many of us are way too hard and critical on ourselves. Speak to yourself like you would to your best friend. We’re all doing the best we can - give yourself some grace.

Check out the article if you'd like to learn a little more about my background and what has led me to where I am today.
